The workshop for nurseries owners

The workshop was organised by the project team and took place on Wednesday 23rd January, 2019 at the Mendelu campus.
The participants learnt more about the diseases which threaten vegetation in nurseries in the Czech Republic, Serbia and Austria. Then got advices and professional intructions how to prevent from those diseases or how to cure the vegetation, which has already been infected.
Among the lecturers were Dr. Thomas Jung – the Head Scientific Researcher of the Phytophthora Reseach Centre project, prof. Libor Jankovský, Dr. Thomas Cech and many others.
An important part of the programme was the resulting discussion among the lecturers and nursery owners during which a variety of interesting questions were addressed.
