Current research interests:

My research work is focused on Oomycete (namely Phytophthora) species identification using molecular sequencing data. I contribute to the introduction of molecular techniques in the laboratory and their optimisation. In addition, my future objective is to analyse population diversity and structure of selected Phytophthora species on a worldwide scale. Previously, I have been working on a population genetics of a fungal forest pathogen (development of microsatellite markers and reconstruction of its demographic history using Approximate Bayesian Computation approach).
